Good Afternoon,

One of the local agencies we partner with for opioid prevention programs is the Hanley Foundation.  The Hanley team provides opioid prevention, stress management, and life skills programs for students in grades K-12.  They also provide free programs for parents/caregivers that focus on research-based parenting skills and strategies.  After collaborating with the Hanley Team, we are pleased to announce that the Hanley Foundation has created a virtual Active Parenting Course targeted for elementary and middle school parents!

This six-session course is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, April 28th, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM via Zoom.  The subsequent five sessions will be held on the following Wednesdays during the same time frame, with the final session concluding on June 2, 2021.  This is a fantastic opportunity for all parents/caregivers to take part in this course from the comfort of their own homes.  Attached you will find the flyer for the Active Parenting Course in English and Spanish to disseminate.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your assigned Project Connect coach, or the Active Parenting Course Trainer, Susan Makowski, who can be reached via email:  [email protected]

Thank you,
Fran, Greg, Michael
